Wow!!!…’What a Wedding!’
Review of New House Farm
The moment we arrived at New House Farm over 2 years ago we knew we had found ‘The One’. We had be searching for our wedding venue, local to home for months. We wanted ‘our day’ not a day that the venue/wedding co-ordinator dictated. Or repeated for many other couples weekend after weekend.
The beauty of New House Farm is you can pretty much do as you like and that was what we had been looking for! Yes at first I was a little overwhelmed. My partner and I work full time and live over 2 hours away. And I admit I thought “can we do this?” Immediately Hazel put us at ease by putting us in touch with some marvellous people who helped us create the day we had dreamed of!
The Barn is beautiful and rustic and New House Farm is so cosy and gorgeous! Every room is unique, luxurious and extremely comfortable. Hazel is an amazing host who will be as involved as you want. The location is especially stunning. Over the two years of planning our wedding my partner and I have stayed numerous times. On the wonderful drive up there, every time we say it feels like we are driving home! The local people are charming and the two pubs either side serve some especially delicious, hearty food and beer! I cannot express enough how much we love this place! Whether it’s a romantic few days away, a walking break or a wedding you will be amazed! Thank you, Hazel for a weekend we will never forget, Paul and I have said numerous times if we could do it all again we would have changed nothing!

Review of New House Farm
Don’t think there are words to describe just how perfect a Place New House Farm was for our wedding weekend last Saturday. The staff were incredible, nothing was too much for them, and alongside the wonderful Hazel, went the extra mile to make our day so special. Then our family and friends were superbly welcomed both at the farm and up the road at Scale Hill.
The setting was unbeatable for us, as we met here. As soon as we pulled in to the car park 18 months ago we knew. This was the place we’d like to celebrate our wedding day with all our family and friends. What we appreciated most was how Hazel let us develop our own vision in the wonderful Hayloft, but was on hand the whole time to find us whatever we needed. A special place, a special host, and also a special memory for us. Finally, Thank you all at New House Farm for looking after us so well last weekend, I’m not sure there is anywhere else in your lovely county that can compete…….
