Sally and Daren’s Wedding Photography Broadoaks Country House
I met up with Sally
and her bridesmaids at Broadoaks Country House on a chilly but lovely December morning, the make up artist Helen from Definitions Beauty Kendal
was busy doing Sally’s make up I have worked alongside Helen many times . The boudoir suite at Broadoaks is beautiful with a lovely four poster bed, this room is the jewel in the crown and
very popular with honeymoon couples and for people looking for a special romantic escape.
was held in The Oaks Room, this is a beautifully decorated room. The room boasts a beautiful fireplace at one end and looks out onto
the surrounding green valley as well as the fast flowing beck that runs from the village of Troutbeck heading to Windermere. The ceremony was lovely
as Sally and Darren both have a wonderful sense of humour, the floral decorations and bouquets were stunning.
After the ceremony
drinks were served in the bar as it was to cold for everyone to go outside on to the terrace. The guests then went to mingle in the The Music Room which is a
lovely room that oozes charm and character with traditional oak panelled walls, and lots of sofa’s to relax on, there is also baby grand in the corner of the room which can also be used to fill the room with music by our local pianist
Sally and Darren
decided to brave the chilly air and go outside for some photographs at the front of the house and with the fountain, which is lit up when it gets
darker. The interior of Broadoaks is great for photo’s to, including the lovely landing with huge mirror and the staircase. The music room has a lovely fireplace
The wedding breakfast
was held in The Orangery this is a beautiful bright and airy addition to Broadoaks and has lovely views to the hills, the speeches were very
