Laura & Liam’s Armathwaite Hall Wedding Photography
Laura and Liam came all the way from Wanaka New Zealand so their families could join them on their wedding day.The couple have lived in New Zealand for a number of years and met during a ski season, and they have now made their home there. It was a cloudy but dry day when I arrived for their Armathwaite Hall Wedding.
Located in the beautiful English Lake District
and set on the shores of the breath-taking Bassenthwaite Lake, Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa is without a doubt the perfect venue for your wedding. With four different ceremony venues to choose from, including the stunning outside Woodland Gazebo, there is an option to suit every budget and style.
The couple were hoping
to have their ceremony in the Woodland Gazebo which has views of Bassenthwaite Lake . The ceremony was to be conducted by Debra Jessett https://humanist.org.uk/debrajessett/ who I have worked with on a few occasions before. The ceremonies are always very personal and the couples can choose the vows themselves. Debra was more than happy to have the ceremony outside as the weather was cloudy but dry.
All the guest made their way outside
and down to the Gazebo, to wait for Laura and her father to join them. the ceremony was lovely and afterwards the couple and their guest made their way up to the terrace for champagne and nibbles.
Laura and Liam wanted plenty of family photographs
as they may not all be together again for a while. After all the family photographs and the big group shot we made our way to the avenue of beech trees for some romantic shots of the couple. It was getting a little chilly so the guests had made their way inside to the bar area, I went to photograph the tables, favour and cake and the table centres.
